Teen Vision

When a child moves from junior school to senior school their horizon expands both physically and virtually. This is a period of time when image matters, how you are perceived and how you perceive others.

The Teen years are when eating disorders often manifest themselves. Eating disorders are not just about having a sweet tooth or striving to fit into skinny jeans, they can have very serious effects on physical and mental health as well as on  the eyes.

Teenagers  use their eyes to communicate with the world through texts and web sites and  increasingly travel independantly making new friends, acquaintances and having novel experiences.

After the age of 17 many teenagers  will put their vision to the ultimate test when they learn to drive. It is not enough to read a number plate. The UFoV is the ultimate challenge for the visual system.
